Many thanks again to Racquel and the Adobo Nation team for the opportunity to share a slice of life as a young Pinay returning to farming roots. I’m proud and humbled by the rich legacies of Fil/Ams working the soil, fighting for their rights, the health of the land, and for dignity.
Fil/Ams have a role to play in the growing food movement. While organic may seem new to some, living in balance the land is nothing new to us – its embedded in our very DNA. I’m looking forward to future conversations and seeing where our community takes this.
